"anyone who’s worked retail knows there’s always that one customer with a ridiculous & overcomplicated request. yesterday, it was me.

i went to Timbuk Toys to get a gift wrapped…an oversized box that didn’t even come close to fitting the width of their wrapping paper…a total pain.

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OLIVER!!

he handled it like a pro. he wrapped the gift beautifully, somehow made it look great. …and then needlessly apologized to me for “how long it took it took him” (which was maybe 7 minutes?, haha)

"Timbuk Toys is such a nice option to have in the neighborhood. They always have a great selection of toys for all ages, and the staff is helpful. They also frequently donate to community fundraisers. Their weekly story time with Mr Paul is great! Plenty of parking, and just overall a great place to shop that is not Amazon."
